There is no fixed price list, because every job is different. Dry ice blasting cost depends on:

• what is being cleaned and how dirty it is
• the material and the surface underneath
• access to the area
• whether scaffolding or a scissor lift is needed
• travel distance (London quotes include ULEZ charges)

Yes. A deposit is taken at booking to cover the estimated dry ice cost, and the amount depends on the job. Dry ice only lasts around 48 hours before it turns to gas, so it is ordered for your job and cannot be stored.

Dry ice blasting uses specialist equipment and single-use dry ice, and it can be used where water, chemicals or grit would cause problems. It also leaves no water or blast media to clean up afterwards, which can save time on the job.
